Had a great lunch at Old Southwest Social House today. I had the roasted Brussel Sprouts with bacon and a balsamic glaze! I also had the mushroom blue burger. The burger was cooked a perfect medium as I ordered it. It came with tater tots which were wonderfully crispy. I found the food a touch salty for my taste. I mean I expect blue cheese to be a bit salty but then with the added salt it was a bit much! Next time I will tell them no added salt and it should be perfect!! DH had the fried chicken sandwich which he said was really good!! Our friends ordered the fish and chips which they really liked!! The service was awesome. When we ordered the waitress asked if we wanted ranch or ketchup with our tots. We had the ranch which is house made and delicious!! Overall a great lunch!! FYI.. they have a brunch on the weekend served until 2 but after noon you can order from their regular menu!!

I've been wanting to try OSW for a while and everything was amazing! The service was wonderful and it has an all around fun vibe. I recommend the OSW burger. It checks all the boxes for what you want in a burger; juicy, tender, and delicious! I'm really looking forward to enjoying the outdoor setting with our dog during the warm weather!

Love the food here! The staff is excellent! If you want a real, "home made" meal without having to make it yourself, this is the place. I'm not a gambler but they have plenty of video gaming at the bar too. Plentiful drink menu. Very chill atmosphere. 10/10 Menu seasonally changes, so you know it's good ;-)

So pleasantly surprised by this restaurant which feels more like a pub. We got the best service from Michael-even though he was really busy he was attentive and friendly. Would return just for that excellent service but the food and drinks were just as good! Started off with a perfectly made old fashioned-one of the best I've had. Next was the jalapeno onion dip served warm with housemade chips-so unique and so good! The burger was one of the best I've had in Reno served on a brioche roll-it was huge! The meat was high quality and seasoned beautifully with some blue cheese and sautéed onions and mushrooms. We upgraded the side to housemade onion rings-thin and crispy. Everything was amazing and we can't wait to return!

I really love this place! We stopped in after the Hot August Night Parade. We sat at the bar! I like to play slots. Sarah was the bartender and she is so nice and accommodating! I had the classic breakfast the scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and my hash browns made to perfection nice and crispy! My husband had the stuffed strawberry French toast it looked and smelled awesome but I'm allergy to nuts and shaved almonds were on top! Our mimosas and screwdrivers were made with fresh squeezed orange juice on the spot! How many places do that anymore? They have a great happy hour specials too, however we live in Sparks and don't get over there very often! I wish the owner would open an Old Sparks Social Club, we need this type of food and great dining experience in Sparks.

Visited a couple times now and the food is always great. We've had the fish and fries and the fire shrimp most often and are never disappointed. Today we chose to change it up and ordered the turkey panini and the cod tacos; while the cod could have been seasoned more to our liking the panini was fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit and the staff is personable and friendly. We will be back!

I finally had the opportunity to try out the Old Southwest Social House, I've been wanting to come for a while as it's close to my house. My wife and I came in on Wednesday night and it was quiet, not too busy which is nice and plenty of space. We sat at the bar, which includes machines for gaming, although I rarely ever use these but nice for those that gamble. They have a decent beer selection on tap, I ended up with one of my favorites, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. We weren't super hungry, so we ordered potato skins, loaded fries, and the Beef Chimichurri Tacos. The Tacos were great, right amount of flavor and toppings, I would order again for sure! The loaded fries are very cheesy and filling. That's not a negative, they were really good but something I wouldn't order as often. The potato skins were good as well, classic potato skin, can't go wrong! Overall satisfied with my meal and experience, would go back again, especially for a nice casual meal on a weekday night. I will also mention they have a Happy Hour from 2:30 - 5:30 which is 20%off food and adult beverages.

This is the second time I've been to this local pub. It serves pup food which is little greasy quite delicious lots of beer. Good wine. Two of us shared a fish and fries, which is basically fish and chips. One of us had a burger. One of us had a Ruben. Onion rings to die for. Basically a nice fuck with pub food. Yes, I'll come again only probably was a little slow because there's only one waitress. She did a good job, but she was by herself.
